About Us

Monica Rosas-Baines is a licensed clinical psychologist in the Student Health Center at CSUDH.  She received her B.A. in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. Her areas of expertise include multicultural psychology and Latina mental health issues. She is the co-founder of the Latinas Juntas program at CSUDH and co-leads Nosotras, a weekly Latina support group.  She also teaches in the Chicana/o Studies Department at CSUDH.
Denna Sanchez is a Clinical Psychologist in the Career Center at CSUDH. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Individual and Family Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles, and her B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. Her areas of expertise are minority mental health issues and college student counseling. She is the co-founder of the Latinas Juntas program at CSUDH and co-leads Nosotras, a weekly Latina support group.
